Manufacturing Software Implementation

Software implementation is the process of adopting and integrating a software application into your company’s systems and workflows. The implementation process involves several key steps, including planning, designing, testing, and transitioning users to the new system. If you’re embarking on a software implementation project, here are some essential considerations:

  • Planning: Symphony assists you by defining clear objectives for the implementation. What problem(s) are we trying to solve on your behalf? What are the desired outcomes? We will create a detailed project plan that outlines tasks, timelines, and responsibilities.

  • Vendor Selection: Symphony will help you choose the right Inventory and Manufacturing software vendor based on your requirements, budget, and compatibility with existing systems and help you evaluate factors like scalability, support, and security. We highly recommend Cin7 Core’s software platform and are happy to assist you with assessing its capabilities to meet your specific needs.

  • Testing and Evaluation: Symphony rigorously tests the software based on your company workflows before deployment. If required we will write and provide SOP’s, identify any issues, bugs, or compatibility problems and involve the project team and appropriate end-users in testing to gather feedback.

  • Change Management: Change management is critical to user adoption. Symphony provides training sessions, at which we communicate the benefits of the new software and address any concerns that may arise from the proposed change. It is important to remember to prepare your employees for the transition.

  • Data Migration: If you’re replacing an existing system, even if that is a manual system based on paper and spreadsheets, Symphony will work with you to plan how to migrate data from your current system to the new one in order to ensure data integrity and accuracy during this transition process.

  • Monitoring and Optimization: After implementation, Symphony will work with you over an initial 4 week period to ensure a successful implementation. We will monitor the software’s performance and assist you to gather insights that the software can bring to your business. If you require longer support contracts to optimize workflows, address any issues, and/or continuously improve the software, these contracts are available.

Remember, successful software implementation can significantly enhance productivity and profitability, but it requires careful planning and execution. Symphony would love to be your partner on this journey in bringing about these benefits to your company.
