I’m Paul King, the proud owner of Symphony Development Group.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I’ve been working in the management accounting field for over forty years. It includes being a Controller and Finance Director for companies in the UK in addition to being a successful business owner.

After moving to San Francisco, I saw an opportunity to work with small businesses to provide cloud-based integration services. So I decided to launch an accounting and bookkeeping firm with a difference in the Spring of 2015.

Over the past six years, I’ve come to realize that in the world of cloud-based applications, it is essential to NEVER stop learning to stay marketable and competitive. Therefore, we try to understand the ins and outs of different industries, which helps us to succeed while building a solid relationship with clients.

We maintain clear and frequent communication with our clients, and I believe what sets us apart from others is that I take accountability for the work my company does. I also attribute our success to problem-solving and applying this simple concept to every project we complete. It has enabled my team to branch out into working with complex financial modeling programs and advanced inventory software. We integrate these applications into accounting platforms, including Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay, which has led to quality solutions for clients.

Therefore, when a client refers us to an associate for system integration, bookkeeping, or CFO services, it fills me with immense satisfaction.

Owning a business can be challenging, especially during these unprecedented times, but providing individualized services based on my experience allows me to connect with people all over the world, even if it is currently from my ergonomic chair and standing desk.

When I’m not crunching numbers in my office, I love cycling. Living in North Carolina allows me the pleasure of tackling different roads and elevations. I’m also constantly riding for charity events and contributing to causes in the US and the UK. In particular, I raise money for childhood disabilities as it has had a direct impact on my family. When I cannot ride my street bike, I can be found on my Peloton at #UKGuylivinUSA.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as an accounting and bookkeeping professional in Mooresville, NC, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at
